Main Article Content
Abstract
This paper shows an approach to the concept of Children’s Literature through a brief diacritical vision from its origins until today. The article underlines the most characteristic uses of this literature in each time (didactic, doctrinal, and proselytising). The authors point out the particularities and specific characterization of Children’s Literature and also the coincidences with Adult’s Literature. This is a new intent to define the characterization of Children’s Literature (topics, thematic, literary structure, form, editions) and claim the importance of this literature.
