Amidst laughs and mists: a hypertextual tour through the Arturian world
Main Article Content
Abstract
The approach to tradition becomes essential for the development of literary competence of the young. In this work the focus is the survival of the Arthurian material in children`s literature across an intertextual approach. Specifically, two juvenile novels written in Spanish are examined into greater depth, The Adventure of Sir Karel of Northumbria, by Manuel Alfonseca, and King Arthur Rides Again, More or Less, by Miguel Ángel Moleón, in order to compare references to previous texts and clarify the new role they play in the present narrative.
